Celebrating Zongzi Festival with Genori Technology, Welcoming the Dragon Boat Festival Joyfully

"The Dragon Boat Festival comes in midsummer, with clear days and longer daylight." The Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, is not only one of the four major traditional festivals among the Chinese folk, but also the first Chinese festival to be inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List.

There are numerous customs during the Dragon Boat Festival, such as making zongzi, holding dragon boat races, hanging calamus and mugwort, wearing sachets, and drinking realgar wine, all filled with a rich traditional cultural atmosphere.

In order to inherit and promote traditional culture and enrich the spiritual and cultural life of employees, on the afternoon of June 4th, a theme activity of making zongzi for the Dragon Boat Festival was held in the second-phase cafeteria of the Chongqing factory. Family members of Genori Technology met with zongzi enthusiasm and welcomed the Dragon Boat Festival joyfully. 

The cafeteria chef skillfully demonstrated the operation steps of making zongzi to everyone. Everyone cooperated with each other, earnestly learned the techniquesof making zongzi, and shared the historical origin of the Dragon Boat Festival. The fragrance of bamboo leaves filled the event site.

To celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival and express the festival blessings and gratitude for the hard work of all on-duty employees, the company also distributed zongzi gift boxes to all on-duty employees.
