Recently, the project "Research, Development, and Production of High-Purity and High-Strength SIC Ceramic Materials" submitted by Genori Technology has proudly won the second prize in the 2023 Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle First "Xinlong Kechuang Cup" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
The "Xinlong Kechuang Cup" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was jointly guided by the Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau and the Chengdu Science and Technology Bureau, and was jointly organized by the Chongqing Jiulongpo District Science and Technology Bureau, the Chengdu Xindu District Bureau of Economy and Science and Technology, and the Agricultural Bank of China Chongqing Jiulongpo Sub-branch. A total of 140 enterprises and teams from Chongqing and Chengdu participated in the competition. After multiple rounds of expert evaluation and on-site defense, 12 projects stood out and received awards. Our company's project, "Research, Development, and Production of High-Purity and High-Strength SIC Ceramic Materials," ranked second in the enterprise category and proudly won the second prize!
SIC exhibits excellent thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, low thermal expansion, and minimal pollution generation, making it a superior material for components compared to quartz and monocrystalline silicon. With the continuous iteration of integrated circuit process nodes, SIC components will be applied in more advanced logic and memory chip factories, with widespread use in processes such as diffusion, thin-film deposition, and etching. However, due to its high hardness and melting point, the preparation of high-purity precision silicon carbide structural components is challenging, limiting the widespread application of silicon carbide in high-end equipment manufacturing fields such as integrated circuits. Genori Technology's high-temperature CVD process effectively addresses this challenge, enabling the production of solid-state silicon carbide materials with high purity, high density, and excellent thermoelectric properties suitable for use in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
